Deep Tissue Massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain and soreness in both large and small muscle groups.
Thai Herbal Compress (appointment only)
A traditional herbal recipe of Plai Root, Tamarind Leaves, Turmeric, Bergamot Peels, Camphor and Lemongrass are steamed in cotton encased poultices and applied directly to the body. Combined with Thai Massage, the herbal heat penetrates and relaxes sore muscles while increasing blood circulation.
Thai Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy Body Massage is the art of combining a relaxing massage with a pleasant aroma. The sense of smell can trigger past memories, and using this knowledge becomes an effective tool to use in encouraging relaxation. The massage helps to relieve stress, unknots tense and eases aching muscles. The skin, and systems of the body are stimulated, which boosts circulation, aids cellular removal and removes toxic wastes. Hot stone massage
Hot stone massage is a form of massage therapy that follows the same principles of Swedish Massage with the addition of heated stones, which helps lead to deep relaxation. Adding heat to specific areas on the body enhances the feeling of relaxation and peace. Recommended in particular for individuals suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis or other chronic pain. The penetrating effects of the heated stones allows the massage to be delivered without excessive pressure.
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage (appointment only)
We’ve combined Himalayan salt into our heated stone massage to add a dose of healing within your massage experience. Himalayan salt stones provide 84 essential minerals including iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium and the heated salt stones allow minerals to penetrate deep into muscles and joints. The stones will warm your body and loosen your muscles to allow for a release of tension and stress without adding extra pressure. The feeling is both highly relaxing and therapeutic. The salt stones will moisturize and plump up the outer skin layer to leave you feeling refreshed and glowing. Himalayan salt stones have also been known to detoxify, help reduce insomnia, improve blood pressure and relieve stress.
Prenatal Massage (appointment only)
A nurturing massage that focuses on the special needs of mothers-to-be during pregnancy. Positioning, pillows and cushions are used to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both body and mind.
